Manly Vale

Manly Dam walk is a 7.3km circuit trail around Manly Dam which is surrounded by 377 hectares of native bushland. Manly Dam Reserve is the largest freshwater lake in Sydney and was created as a result of the damming of Curl Curl Creek in 1892. It is nice walk on a sunny winter day and would be a good walk for those that are new to Span or haven't done a walk for a while. We start along the Nature Trail then the McComb Hill Track before we drop down to the wetlands board walk, and at most northern point we will cross Manly Creek and walk along the northern side of the Dam and finish walking on top of the Dam wall. Start of walk is at Manly Vale and I can pick up a few people from North Sydney station for anyone coming by train.
