This walk takes us up onto Mount Solitary, across and down the other side to the remains of historic Maxwells Farm at Kedumba Crossing. These days wallabies, kangaroos and wambats graze there rather than livestock. From there it is a gradual ascent via a fire trail to a locked (for cars) gate on Kings Tableland. The walk is all on tracks but is a solid day at approximately 23 km and has two big ascents so is suitable only for fit walkers. It will be necessary for each of us to carry a small torch as we may finish after dark. A car shuffle will also be necessary.
